Really good film! Childhood classic

Really great film! The kind of film you could write an essay about. The symbolism is really strong.

Great film! I loved the scene with the Karate black belts.

Pretty good, I liked the table fight and it was satisfying when Ip Man beat Twister.

It was good; it got real in places and the fights were cool.

I was surprised at how good this sequel was! At first, I thought it would be alright but not amazing, but it totally blew me away. I loved the references to Bruce Lee near the beginning of the film, like when he took the nunchucks and I was thinking “is he gonna do the thing?” and then he did the iconic nunchuck thing and I was internally screaming! I heard a few of the other audience members chucking, too.

Steve Jobs Yells At People For 2 Hours: The Movie. I didn’t really like it that much. The pacing was too fast and it was just full of arguments I could barely keep up with. I prefer the 2013 version. The acting, the cinematography and the musical score were all good, it’s just the content that’s not so good.

Pretty funny, very embarrassing at times

Pretty good; there were some real good scenes in it, although I was spoiled for most things. One thing I did not expect was the scene where Bruce’s parents were killed in the alley.

Way better than I expected! It was funny, interesting, the characters were cool, and I generally really enjoyed it. I especially liked the leap of faith scene. I would even go as far as to say it’s my favourite superhero film of all time.

I was pretty cool, there was some enjoyable scenes in it, and I did find it interesting. A bit film-studies-y, but I’m glad I watched it.

Very clever! The bit that shook me was the fact that he was effectively killing himself every time he did the Tesla trick, just like with the bird trick at the start of the film.

Funny! Story was a bit all over the place, but I recognised a whole bunch of scenes and quotes from AVGN. The alternate endings was strange; it threw away all sense of agency from the film.

Still funny and cool, but what the hell was up with Cassandra suddenly getting married right at the end? Story was a bit crap but I guess it’s not really the focus.

A nice different take on the original Jumanji; in a way, I’m kind of glad they tried something different as opposed to rehashing the same thing.

Where I praised Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is where I criticise The Next Level. It doesn’t bring anything new, it just rehashes what the previous film did.

It had its good moments, but I expected better, to be honest. I liked how the crew got back together, and I liked how modern it looked… … but there were no action scenes, or scenes where anybody did anything; most of the film was just moving around and looking at stuff. In addition, the costumes are uncreative: where’s all the colour from the original series? Lastly, they brushed aside what the characters were up to before the film.

Holy crap, and I thought Far From Home was amazing! I heard from everyone that this film was great, but nothing could prepare me for how awesome this film was. There is very little I can criticise about it; every improvement I would’ve suggested, they did in this film. I really like how they introduced villains from the other films, but integrated them in the story in a way that made sense.

Good, at least it’s better than The Motion Picture :P

Good film! Likely my favourite so far. Right off the bat, you have the motivation of the film (Kirk saving Spock and how to do it with Bones), the obstacle (Klingons and even the Federation), and even mystery (everything happening on Genesis). I also liked Kirk and Kruge’s ‘showdown’ at the end, where it’s just them on a burning planet. In my opinion, there should’ve been a scene like that in Wrath of Khan.

A funny film! I’m glad they went for a more light-hearted story, as the last three were pretty serious and dark. I really found this film hilarious, especially scenes like Spock mind-melding the whales in the tank, or Scotty not knowing how to use an 80’s computer.

Nice film, has a good balance of humour and action, however it did feel like a long episode instead of a film. The build-up was good, I thought the idea of an evil Vulcan abusing his mind-meld powers was interesting, however the ending felt a little rushed. I did appreciate going into Bones’ history. It was only small, but stuff like that are, what I felt, was severely lacking in the Original Series.

Yea it’s alright, nothing special really. The prison escape bit was cool, but the rest was mediocre.

Rewatched as per my Star Trek marathon. Pretty good! I like the new spin on everything.

Great film!

Eh, the Americanisation felt like a cop-out, and I didn’t like the way they killed off almost everyone except Eggsy and Merlin. There were some good bits, though.

Depressing ending, but good film. Reminded me of SCUM.

Kinda cool, but I expected something different. Surface-level, there’s not much to say, but I bet there’s a lengthy and clever explanation of what the film meant and everything. Unfortunately, I’m not interested enough to listen to such an explanation.

Didn’t even realise there was a sequel until today! Pretty good film.

A pretty film; it’s clear they were focusing more on world-building and presentation rather than plot, which is fine; the plot was simple but didn’t feel disappointingly basic. All in all, it’s a good film for what it’s trying to do.

Heartwarming; it reminded me of Babe

Hoo boy, super impressed with this one by Dreamworks. Animation quality is superb, the colours were bright and appealing but didn’t take away from the seriousness of the film, the story was effective and didn’t get confusing, and it was pretty funny in places too. My favourite scene had to be Puss’ first meeting with the wolf, but I really like some of the other bits too, such as when Puss was cooking his own food at the cat lady place.

The writing was a little weird, but I generally enjoyed it. It was nice to see how everyone was doing three years after the main story. Pretty funny too; definitely has that same slapstick the original series had, but perhaps a little more. It was super cool to see Chase again, especially towards the end of Go’s side-story. The ending was pretty sweet, too.

Pretty depressing film, but cool nonetheless. I found the main character to be boring and had an uninteresting personality, and her partner to be pointless, but the suspense was well-done, the hook kept me engaged till the end of the film, and the music and visuals were fitting and effective.

Eiji goes to Brazil In all honesty, a pretty mediocre film, but has some funny moments in it, like when Eiji went to Brazil, or when Accel couldn’t transform simply because Akiko confiscated his gear.

meh, it felt like it lacked what made venom from spiderman 3 so cool

Pretty cool conclusion to the series, although it was a bit of a cop-out since seven kings didn’t technically die. I liked how Uhtred’s “death” was portrayed, by having him stand between reality and Valhalla, with all the old characters who died throughout the series welcoming him. I also liked how they did a “Merlin” and showed Bebbanburg in modern times.

Pretty good; the pacing is a little too fast, and the writing felt slightly off, but it had good moments.

Bomboclaat This film is awesome :) The comedy is great and the conflict is relatable yet doesn’t overshadow the positivity of the film. Although I did wish they spent a little bit more time on some of the more dramatic moments, like Junior’s conflict with his dad. All in all, a great film :D
