Picked it up at Waterstones, gonna give this one another go

Time for the unpopular opinion… I don’t actually like Lord of the Rings that much. In the books, there’s just so much talking and back-story that hardly matters to the plot that it eventually becomes a chore to read. The Hobbit had a little bit of that, but most of the time something was going on and the characters were actually doing something. In LOTR, when everyone went to that elven place and held that meeting, there was so much talk and forgettable back-story that I felt it would be more interesting doing the washing up.

Good book.

An interesting psychology book that I read in high school, given to me by my English teacher (thank you Ms. Rollason!). The stories were interesting, and quite insightful.

Read this so long ago lol, easy to learn

I hear every programmer needs to read this.
